There is indeed a special trick when making klepon to make it last longer. Luckily, an Instagram user @melizah21 once shared the trick. She admitted that there is one secret that can make klepon last longer and last all day at room temperature.
As reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @melizah21, Monday (19/8), the secret lies in the use of grated coconut. As explained, grated coconut is usually used as a topping for klepon. Well, grated coconut can make klepon stale because it is steamed first. In the end, it affects the klepon, so it becomes wet and easily tastes sour in a few hours.
