"In this video, I will give tips on how to boil peanuts so that the results are soft like in pressure cooker, but only boiled for 12 minutes, which saves quite a lot of gas," said YouTube owner Dapur Leony, quoted by BrilioFood on Friday (23/2) .
First of all, wash the peanuts that you want to boil. After washing twice, the YouTube user soaked the peanuts for 10-25 minutes so that the dirt and soil stuck to them were completely removed. After that, rinse the peanuts again until they are completely clean.

Then prepare a pan filled with enough water, heat it on the stove and wait until it boils. When it's boiling, add the peanuts and add salt to taste. After that, boil the beans for 5 minutes in a covered pot so that the hot temperature in the pot remains stable and the beans can cook more quickly.
"So, cover this and boil it for 5 minutes," he stressed.

After boiling for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and close the steam hole in the pan so that the heat in the boiling pan does not escape, and the process of cooking the beans continues. The process of leaving the peanuts in the pan takes about 30 minutes. Once done, turn the stove on again and boil the beans for 7 minutes.
"After 7 minutes, turn off the heat. If you want a soft peanut texture like in presto, leave it for 1 hour," he added.

After leaving it for 1 hour, remove and drain the peanuts before serving. The peanuts that have been boiled for 12 minutes look soft when broken.
"This way we definitely save more gas and we don't need a pressure cooker to boil peanuts," concluded the YouTube account owner.
It turns out that peanuts can be boiled briefly without needing a pressure cooker and the results are maximally soft.
