Brilio.net - Squid can be cooked in various ways, one of which is by frying it. Fried squid can be created with balado seasoning, green chili, sweet and sour, and many more. Fried squid dishes tend to be easy to make so they are often a choice of menu at home.

However, frying squid is not an easy task. This process can affect the texture of the squid to be tough. In addition, the splash of oil from the squid that explodes when fried is also a problem in itself.

This hot oil splash is certainly dangerous because it can cause burns if it comes into contact with the skin. This is what makes some people think twice before frying squid.

But don't worry, there is a trick that can be done to avoid this. This trick was once shared by a YouTube user with a channel called BERBAGI DUNIA. In one of his uploads, he explained several things to watch out for so that the squid does not explode when fried.

Squid that explodes when fried is actually caused by improper processing. The skin, meat , and eyes of the squid can explode due to the heat reaction that occurs during the frying process, so these parts must be considered.

"The main cause of (squid) exploding when frying squid is due to the heat reaction between the gaps in the flesh and skin of the squid. So, this is the part that needs to be paid attention to, namely the skin, flesh, and eyes before frying," explained YouTube BERBAGI DUNIA as quoted by BrilioFood on Thursday (30/1).

Before ready to be fried, squid needs to be cleaned properly. So, the skin and eyes of the squid must be removed first. Then fry the squid as usual with enough oil.

Well, it's different with squid that has had its skin and eyes removed. In the video, it appears that the squid does not explode at all even though it uses a large stove flame. In this way, the process of frying squid becomes safer.

"There are no oil splashes. So the solution is to remove the skin and eyes when cleaning before frying," YouTube BERBAGA DUNIA explained further.
