So whose fault is this?

Brilio.net - Steak is one of the popular beef dishes. Not without reason, steak does have a delicious and appetizing taste. Moreover, steak is usually served in large pieces and accompanied by various types of sauce.

There are many parts of meat that can be used for steak, for example tenderloin, sirloin, wagyu, rib eye, and many more. However, whatever part of the meat, the type of beef used generally comes from abroad. This is because the cows used for steak are bred specifically so that the results are perfectly tender.

This is very different from local beef which is full of fiber so it is tough when processed into steak. It's not surprising that many restaurants end up selling steaks made from imported beef. Even though the quality is maintained, like it or not, the price of the steaks sold is relatively expensive.

A TikTok user @queen_1479 shared his experience when buying steak. In his video upload, this netizen spent IDR 112,000 for a portion of steak. Not without reason, because the steak chosen is ribs and the beef is also imported from Australia.

The steak plate is also complete with vegetables, namely carrots and long beans. Not only that, there were also around 5 pieces of flour fried potatoes arranged next to the steak.

At first the steak looked tempting. However, after cutting it, this woman was shocked because the menu was dominated by fat. Even though the steak had been cut in half, it looked like there was absolutely no meat in it.

You think everyone eats fat or meat, right? "All fat, 80% of this fat," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from TikTok @queen_1479 on Saturday (29/6).

This woman continued to complain while poking her steak with a fork. In his video upload, he admitted that he was annoyed because he spent IDR 112,000 just to buy a steak which turned out to be dominated by fat.

The woman also protested to the restaurant , unfortunately the restaurant did not want to replace it.

"Is Australian ribs steak like this? Does it eat fat or eat meat? Do you want to be given a portion like this for 112 thousand? N don't want to be replaced by restony," said the TikTok account @queen_1479.

Seeing the video upload that was shared, quite a few netizens were interested in commenting. Instead of supporting this action, many thought that the woman did not really understand the parts of meat.

After investigating, the ribs of beef are dominated by fat. This part is usually attached to the cow's ribs. The texture is soft and tastes delicious because it is rich in fat content.

Even so, the ribs still have meat. If you look closely, at the ends of the steak there is part of the beef. As explained by netizens in the video's comments column.

You have to be able to differentiate rib eye steak from rib steak. "Rib eye has almost no fat, ribs have fat," explained the TikTok account @usie.usie.

"Ribs are ribs, just look for ribs at the rib market, they're really like that," commented the TikTok account @Siti Ituhh Juminten.

Reporting from allenbrothers.com, both prime rib and rib eye steak are taken from beef ribs. Prime rib is taken from the middle of the rib bone and tends to be full of fat. Meanwhile, rib eye is taken closer to the beef loin, there is less fat and the meat fibers are fine.

As agreed, other netizens also responded the same thing. He even recommended that this woman read the menu more carefully before ordering the steak she chose. However, there are also netizens who have different views.

"I ordered the wrong one, ma'am, because some are full meat, some are half meat, half fat, and some are full fat. "Next time, look at the menu name and explanation, then order," said the TikTok account @Yoongi_gariskeras.

"But I agree with the mother, even though it's delicious, it's full of fat from the meat, even though the sirloin steak isn't like that either," explained the TikTok account @Teuku Eza.
