Material:
- 4 pieces of white tofu
- 200 gr diced meat
- 2 handfuls of melinjo skin
- 10 cayenne peppers
- 1/2 pack of thick coconut milk
- 1 liter of water
- Palm sugar
Ground spices:
- 3 garlic
- 5 red onions
- 2 kluwak grains
- 6 curly red chilies
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 2 candlenuts
- Aromatic ginger
- Ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
Complementary spices:
- 1 cm galangal, crushed
- 1 segment of lemongrass
- 1 lime leaf
- 1 bay leaf
How to make:
1. Cut white tofu into large cubes, fry until golden brown.
2. Saute the ground spices until fragrant, then add the additional spices until they wilt slightly. Stir fry the meat with the spices until it changes color then add the water and coconut milk.
3. Wait until it boils, add the fried tofu, melinjo skin and cayenne pepper. Season with sugar and salt, adjust the taste.
4. Cook over low heat until the water reduces.
