Brilio.net - It wouldn't be complete if you went to Solo without enjoying gelatin strait. This dish , which has a brownish sauce, is suitable for lunch.
To make it more filling , gelatin strait is usually accompanied by pieces of boiled vegetables. The following is a recipe for typical Solo gelatin strait, BrilioFood reported from the Instagram account @banususanto.

Material:
- 600 gr ground beef
- 2 eggs, beaten well
- 6 tablespoons bread flour
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- Salt and sugar to taste
Ground seasoning ingredients:
- 6 red onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2/3 tsp pepper
- 1/2 nutmeg
Strait soup ingredients:
- 1 1/2 liters of water
- 5 cm cinnamon
- 10 lime leaves
- 3 cm ginger, crushed
- 3 cm galangal, crushed
- 8-9 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 2 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
- Salt and stock powder to taste
Blender seasoning ingredients:
- 1 large onion
- 9 cloves of garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 nutmeg
- Right amount of oil
Supplementary material:
- 300 gr green beans, cut, boiled and drained
- 300 gr carrots, cut lengthwise, boiled and drained
- 300 gr potatoes, cut lengthwise, boil and drain
- 6 boiled eggs or soy sauce eggs
How to make:
1. Knead all the ingredients and galantin spices until smooth.
2. Prepare aluminum foil, grease it with oil. Place the galantin mixture on top, roll the galantin gently with aluminum foil until it is shaped like a rice cake.
3. Steam for 30-45 minutes.
Once cool, open the aluminum foil package and fry the galantin briefly.
4. Cut the galantin into pieces. For the strait sauce, saute the blended spices until cooked. Add all the other strait sauce ingredients. Boil for 15 minutes until the aroma comes out and the sauce reduces slightly. Turn off the heat.
5. To serve, arrange the galantin pieces along with other complementary ingredients on a plate. Drizzle with strait sauce, ready to serve.
