The various fillings in this dish are even more suitable when drizzled with refreshing sauce. Material:
- Ketupat or lontong, cut into pieces
- 3 fried bakwan, cut into pieces
- 3 tofu, cut into cubes then fried
- Sliced cabbage
- Bean sprouts, brew hot water
- Yellow noodles, boil briefly
- Fried peanut
- Celery leaves, chopped
- Sliced cayenne pepper
Soy sauce seasoning:
- 300 ml of water
- 3 garlic, crushed
- 1 candlenut, puree
- 5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons combed brown sugar
- 1 small tomato, halved
- Salt
How to make soy sauce:
1. Cook the water until it boils, add all the spices except tomatoes. Cook until the brown sugar dissolves. Check taste.
2. After the brown sugar has dissolved, add the tomatoes, cook briefly until slightly thickened. Turn off the heat.
3. How to serve: On a serving plate, put pieces of ketupat, cabbage, bean sprouts, bakwan, yellow noodles and tofu.
4. Drizzle with soy sauce, then sprinkle with chopped celery leaves and fried peanuts.
5. Also add sliced cayenne pepper if you like it spicy.
