Material:
- 2 kg sticky rice, soak 1 night
- 1 grated coconut
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 small set of instant coconut milk
- 100 gr small red beans
- Bamboo leaves
- Rope for tying
- Water for boiling
Filling ingredients:
- 500 gr large red beans
- 100 gr rock sugar
- 2 pandan leaves
- 1 segment of crushed ginger
How to make:
1. Soak glutinous rice, large red beans and small red beans to make a mixture for 1 night.
2. Cook large red beans until soft, add pandan leaves, ginger, finally add rock sugar until cooked for the filling.
3. After the rice has been soaked, wash it, drain it then put in a bowl, mix with grated coconut, red beans, salt, mix well.
4. Prepare 2 bamboo leaves, spread them out by arranging them back and forth so that they are wide, place 1 bamboo leaf in the middle. The bottom center of the rotating press is made into a cone.
5. Add the rice, in the middle add the red bean filling, cover the rice while pressing the remaining top leaves to close tightly.
