Material:
- 200 gr rice flour
- 1/2 tsp instant yeast
- 50 gr granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 500 ml coconut milk, from 1 coconut
- 1 pandan leaf
- 1/4 tsp salt
Areh ingredients:
- 200 ml coconut milk, from 1/2 coconut
- 1 pandan leaf
- 1/4 tsp salt
Toppings:
- Cheese, sprinkles or according to taste
How to make:
1. Cook areh, boil coconut milk, salt and pandan leaves while stirring over low heat until thick. Set aside.
2. Heat a clay pan with grated coconut. Stir in the coconut until oily. Discard the coconut and heat for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
3. Boil coconut milk, pandan leaves and salt while stirring until it boils. Measure 450 ml of coconut milk. Let it warm.
4. Mix flour, yeast, granulated sugar and salt. Stir well. Add eggs. Stir well.
5. Pour in the coconut milk little by little while kneading and beating gently for 15 minutes. Leave it for 1 hour.
6. Then pour the mixture into the pan. Press and twist the middle so that it is crusty on the sides. Let it expand and make holes.
7. Then pour a little areh on top, sprinkle topping according to taste, cover. Reduce the heat, cook until cooked.
