However, even though shelled corn can be made into various delicious dishes, many people are still lazy about making it. The reason is, the process of shelling corn is considered complicated, especially for people who are not patient enough to use a knife.

Usually the process of shelling corn uses a knife by slicing the corn kernels so that they are released from the cob. The first trick, you can shell the corn directly using your hands from the end slowly. Do it gradually until a path is formed on the corn cob whose kernels are gone. If a path has formed, the corn kernels can be shelled from the side. Continue the process of shelling the corn until it runs out.

While the second trick, you need a simple tool , namely a clean spoon or scissors. In addition to being clean, make sure the tool is thick, so that it is not easily broken when used later. Poke the corn cob using the tip of the spoon or scissors that have been prepared until it splits.

"Stab it in the middle then press the side with scissors or the handle of a spoon so that the corn splits," said the owner of the YouTube account Dapur SiTeteh.

After the cob is split, you can scoop out the corn kernels sideways until there are no corn kernels left.
