Brilio.net - Lombok's typical bulayak satay is made from beef. The taste of satay, which tends to be savory and sweet, goes well with thick peanut sauce. This dish is also usually served with pieces of rice cake as a complement. Material:
- 350 gr beef, cut into pieces
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon shaved brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 100 gr grated coconut
- 100 gr fried peanuts, finely crushed
Softened seasoning:
- 10 red bird's eye chilies
- 6 red onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to make:
1. Coat the meat with lime juice, leave for 15 minutes.
2. Divide the ground spices into two, mix half with the meat and grated coconut, stir well.
3. Skewer the meat mixed with spices with skewers, steam for 20 minutes until cooked. Grill the satay until brown.
4. Saute half of the ground spices, then add the coconut milk, peanuts and brown sugar, stir well, cook until boiling and thick.
5. Serve satay with peanut sauce.
