For some people, cobras are scary reptiles. However, in the hands of Sri Sulistyowati Sarjono, the cobra became an extreme culinary champion. This 44 year old woman opened an extreme culinary business called Kobra Imperial Kitchen Restaurant. He has been running this business for 23 years.

"Because actually I started out, before that I already had the basics of Kobra but had not yet opened a restaurant but was more into traditional herbal medicine. Why did I even think about Kobra, because we were looking for a medicine for my grandmother, my grandmother was suffering from terminal cancer when this medicine was discovered, "My grandmother was not helped, but many people can be helped with our treatment after this treatment was discovered. So it is actually a very ancient concoction, ancient Chinese is what it's called," explained Sri Sulistyowati.

He said that all parts of the cobra snake have health benefits. Including the meat which he developed as a culinary business. Apart from herbal medicine, he is able to mix cobra meat into various delicious foods. Starting from spicy sour cobra, tom yam goong cobra, grilled cobra, cobra steak, cobra chips, cobra rica-rica, cobra burger and various other menu choices.

"There are cobra burgers too, small children also like them. So you don't see the cobra, but at the same time it's treated. Usually small children get itchy like that. When they eat it, their skin becomes good. So there are lots of benefits, including for children who Asthma. Also, when you eat this it's very good, the result is that the asthma doesn't go away. Then, if your teenage children have acne like that, the results can be two kinds "It's accelerated, but if it's still small it immediately disappears as soon as we give it cobra oil, that's what we usually use," explained Sri Sulistyowati.

However, the woman called Lis does not provide cobra blood. This is because dirt and toxins can be dangerous for the body.

"So there are various reasons why people consume cobra, from medical treatment to extreme culinary experiences, he said. But all of them are healthy. So whatever he eats cobra, the end result is healthy," explained Sri Sulistyowati.

Many people who are seriously ill can recover after consuming herbal medicine and culinary delights.

"So we make it really hygienic, we are already like manufacturers. We don't have a scary appearance at all but it's really efficacious. So people who might be afraid of coming here turn out to be here just like that, there's no fear at all. So all fear is gone "They were determined to consume it and finally they were able to recover," said Sri Sulistyowati.

Prices for culinary delights at Kobra Imperial Kitchen range from IDR 16 thousand to IDR 100 thousand. The restaurant is located on Jalan Hayam Wuruk 19, Tegal Panggung, Danurejan District, Yogyakarta.

"My hope is that we can help more people with our treatment. Nowadays, free radicals are so strong, there are lots of diseases everywhere. Then maybe diet, lifestyle, maybe many people are stressed, which influences the emergence of diseases. Well, with treatment "Our term, or our therapy, is meant to improve a person's body condition so that they don't get sick easily, even if they are weak, we also increase their vitality so that the function of their body organs can return to perfection and they can experience a very significant recovery," concluded Sri Sulistyowati.

Apart from cobras, this restaurant also provides gecko, monitor lizard, frog and turtle meat. All menus are claimed to be able to help cure various diseases.
