But apparently, there are some people who are not familiar with this snack. A woman with the TikTok account @princessmarisya is one of them. Not long ago, a video uploaded by the content creator went viral on TikTok after she tasted cireng on the side of the road.
More precisely, on September 13, the woman familiarly called Princess Marisya showed herself driving a car and saw a cireng seller on the side of the road. With great enthusiasm, the woman immediately headed towards the cireng seller she saw.

After arriving in front of the cireng seller's cart, Marisya immediately ordered cireng with non-spicy sauce. However, the seller emphasized that there was no sauce on the cireng he sold, because he sold filled cireng. In the end, the woman ordered three corned beef filled cireng and one cheese filled cireng.

After further investigation, it turned out that this moment was Marisya's first time trying cireng. Instead of fried food, she initially expected that cireng was like dimsum served with sauce. With a slightly disappointed expression, she admitted that she still wanted to try the cireng that she had bought on the side of the road.
"It turns out that my expectations about cireng were wrong. I thought cireng was dimsum with soup. It turned out that cireng was fried food. Let's review it. How about this, I already imagined it would have sauce. Then I didn't want the sauce to be spicy. I wanted to use lemon sauce, so it would be fresh, like orange," he said.

After tasting the corned beef, he admitted that cireng was similar to a slightly soft cracker. The taste was also not suitable for his tongue because it really did not match the expectations of 'cireng' that he had previously imagined.
"I was shocked by the taste of the cireng, it turned out to be just normal. Only the texture was half cracker, half fried. The sides were crunchy, but the middle seemed chewy. I couldn't finish this, though," said Marisya.

Marisya's reaction to tasting cireng for the first time immediately attracted attention. Among the more than 8 million viewers, there were many other TikTok users who admitted to being irritated by the woman's review. How could it not be, cireng is basically a fried snack or gorengan.
