He also deliberately sprinkles granulated sugar into the jar when storing biscuits. He doesn't need much, he only relies on 1/2 tbsp of granulated sugar for one jar of biscuits.

According to him, this method is quite effective. This is because sugar is a hygroscopic material that can attract water vapor from the air, which affects the moisture content of the material. That way, the air in the jar is trapped and does not make the biscuits soft.
