Instagram account user @tmanbaik explained that the hot water used to boil instant noodles which he usually threw away actually damaged the sink pipe in his kitchen. He said that his sink pipe broke at around 3 am and made the floor of his house muddy. In the early morning, he then had to worry about cleaning.
"Indeed, there are some pipe materials that are not heat resistant. If it is continuously exposed to hot water, it turns out that this type of pipe can become soft and melt, so in the end the pipe actually leaks," he explained, quoted by BrilioFood from Instagram @tmanbaik on Tuesday (2 /7).

Not wanting this incident to happen again, Instagram account user @tmanbaik also found out the best way to dispose of instant noodle cooking water so as not to damage the sink pipe. He said that there were two findings regarding safe ways to dispose of water used to boil instant noodles.
The first method, the instant noodle cooking water should be left to sit before throwing it away. Just leave it for 10 to 15 minutes until the water is cold, then throw it into the sink drain.
Meanwhile, secondly, instant noodle cooking water can be thrown into the sink while turning on the tap water. Water from a cooler tap can help lower the temperature of the water used to boil instant noodles, so that the sink pipe is not exposed to high temperatures.
