Brilio.net - One of the typical Purwokerto foods that is popular with many people is soto sokaraja. This dish has a savory taste that is suitable to be combined with pieces of rice cake.

Material:
- 500 gr beef, cut into cubes.
- 1 1/2 liters of water
- 1 stalk of lemongrass, bruised
- 2 cm galangal, crushed
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 lime leaves
- 10 grams of brown sugar
- salt and stock powder to taste
Ground seasoning ingredients:
- 6 red onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 5 candlenuts, roasted
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 cm ginger
- 1 cm turmeric
Supplementary material:
- Short bean sprouts
- Rice cake
- Celery leaves, cut into small pieces
- Green onions, cut into small pieces
- Fried onions
- Peanut sauce
- Pink crackers
How to make:
1. Boil the meat in boiling water until foam comes out. Remove the meat then rinse clean. Boil the meat again until tender and remove the broth.
2. Saute the ground spices with galangal, lemongrass, bay leaves and lime leaves until fragrant and not unpleasant. Then put it in the meat stew pan.
3. Add salt, brown sugar and stock powder. Taste.
4. Serve soto sokaraja with accompaniments.
