Several bizarre cases haunt the Waffle House

Brilio.net/en - Its Americas favorite late night diner, which for many blurs the line between late night snack and breakfast. Waffle House Inc. is a restaurant chain with more than 2100 locations in 25 states in the U.S., with most of these locations situated in the South. Its more than just a fast food joint, its a cultural icon with its strong black coffee and greasy countertops lit by unforgiving fluorescent spotlights.

But Waffle House wouldnt be Waffle House without those wacky stories that make it the strange place it is. Just this week two separate Waffle House locations have made the news, on some not so favorable stories.

In Forrest City, Arkansas two employees were caught on camera by a customer doing their hair in the middle of the open-concept kitchen. Antonio Robinson, who recorded the now infamous video, said his friend found hair in his food. He went to pulling strings of hair out of his mouth. According to a local health inspector, finding hair in the kitchen of a restaurant is a health code violation. The two employees took the hair incident to the next level. She dipped her hair in the pot and when it came back up she was drying it off with one of the towels, said Robinson.

The two employees have now been terminated but the weirdness doesnt stop at the Arkansas location.

On the other side of the country in Kennesaw, Georgia a patron of the local Waffle House allegedly stripped naked and went on a rampage.

According to police, the woman was most likely in a state of excited delirium, which caused her to smash a window and throw platters around the diner. To make matters worse she punched an unsuspecting woman in the face, breaking her nose in the process. When the officers tried to subdue her after arriving, she wasnt going down without a fight and threw more platters at the officers and even managed to scratch the face of another. As the officers were finally able to subdue her, she was charged with on felony charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property as well as simple assault, obstruction, simple battery and public indecency.

One thing we are sure of no tip is worth that kind of drama.
