Brilio.net/en - In a tragic turn of events, David Bowie lost his secret 18th month battle with cancer on Sunday, only two days after his 69th birthday.
A Facebook post read David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family.
His birthday was also the release date of Blackstar, his 25th album and a collaboration with a jazz quintet.
Bowie will be remembered as a musical legend who defined what pop music can and could be. An eternal fashion icon whos visionary genius influenced generations of artists about the power of image and persona, Bowie will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace, Ziggy Stardust.
