The 2024 Hajj moment has received a lot of attention on social media. A video has circulated showing the inadequate atmosphere of the tents of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in Mina. A number of congregants were seen sleeping close together in conditions that were far from comfortable, because the 120 square meter tent was filled with 160 congregants.
This condition is very different from the tents of Korean Hajj pilgrims. In the clip uploaded by the TikTok account @kanggilar.id, Friday (14/6), the Hajj pilgrims departing from South Korea show a very comfortable tent atmosphere. One tent can accommodate around 40 people.
Not only that, the facilities you get are no less luxurious. In the tent, the congregation can enjoy the snacks and drinks provided, sofa beds and sleeping bags. Likewise, the bathroom facilities look clean and comfortable.
The owner of the @kanggilar.id account also shared information about the cost of the regular Hajj in South Korea. It was revealed that Hajj pilgrims must spend 11.3 million Korean Won or the equivalent of Rp. 135 million. This cost is said to be cheaper than the cost of Furoda's Hajj in Indonesia, which reaches around IDR 200 million.
Instead of being curious about what the Korean congregation's tent looks like. The following is brilio.net from TikTok @kanggilar.id on Tuesday (18/6), a portrait of the Korean Hajj Mina tent.
In contrast to sleeping, Hajj pilgrims will eat food outside on synthetic grass. Feels like I'm on a picnic, right?
