If usually making salted eggs takes 2-4 weeks, this trick only takes 10 days.

With a sharp salty taste and thick egg yolk texture, salted eggs are often used as a complement to various dishes or enjoyed directly as a snack. In addition to being a snack, salted eggs are also often consumed as a side dish or complement to heavy meals.

Judging from the manufacturing process, salted eggs are usually made from duck eggs. So these duck eggs will be soaked in a mixture of concentrated salt water, ash, and broken bricks. The ash and bricks help regulate the humidity and distribution of salt during the salting process.

These eggs are then stored in a sealed container and left for several weeks until the salt is completely absorbed into the eggs. The process of salting eggs takes quite a long time, usually around 2-4 weeks, depending on the desired level of saltiness. This time-consuming process can be troublesome, because it requires special attention to maintain cleanliness.

But instead of using ash or bricks, you can use another way to make salted eggs faster. A YouTube user VideoHasan once shared a trick to make salted eggs quickly in just 10 days. Well, these salted eggs can even last at room temperature for up to 1 month.

As reported by BrilioFood from YouTube VideoHasan on Sunday (8/9), the owner of the YouTube channel chose to use only salt water to make salted eggs. More precisely, he relies on coarse salt, while the eggs use duck eggs. There are 25 duck eggs prepared to be processed into salted eggs.

After 10 days, the salt solution will become increasingly cloudy. Next, immediately boil the duck eggs using the soaking water until boiling. Once it boils, continue cooking over medium heat for 30 minutes. Make sure the boiling process is carried out in a closed pan. After 30 minutes, turn off the stove and drain. After that, you can split the salted eggs and consume them. Even though they are boiled, the inside of the salted eggs remains dry and not wet, so they can last a long time if stored at room temperature.
