Brilio.net/en - A middle-aged man who stood in front of the pastry shop didn't come just to look at the succulent birthday cakes behind the counter he was looking at cakes to buy for a lovedone.

A Facebook user Eddy Mandiri said that the photo was taken in Gowa, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"I thought he was a parking attendant who was just talking to the store employee, but when the store worker brought the cake, I was immediately surprised and I just took the picture," said Eddy.

"After the man went with his pedicab, I thoughthe works as a scavenger. I tried to find out by asking the store worker for whom the man bought the cake, and she said it was for his wife who was celebrating her birthday."

A lot of people were touched by the post.

"So sweet... happy birthday for his wife, wish you happily ever after," commented Intan Permata Sari.

"Even with his modesty and limitations, he is rich in love, affection, and fidelity," added Nila Silvia.

"Unlike my husband, who pretends to forget my birthday," said Rheny Pasuang.
