Brilio.net - Crackers are certainly no stranger to Indonesian people. Many people eat it as a snack or as a complement to various dishes such as fried rice, soto, and gado-gado.

This food is usually made from a mixture of tapioca flour with various ingredients such as fish and onions. After that, the crackers are sliced thinly and dried in the sun until dry. This process makes the texture of the crackers crispy and crunchy.

The crisp and crunchy texture and delicious taste make this snack increase your appetite. It's not surprising that many people buy it in large quantities to stock snacks at home. To keep them crunchy, some people choose to store crackers in an airtight jar.

However, even though they have been stored in a closed container, sometimes the crackers can get soft because the jar is not closed tightly. If they are tough and soggy, many people choose to throw away the crackers. Some people also re-fry the crackers in oil. There are also those who return to cooking crackers in the microwave or oven so that the texture returns to crispy.

Apart from this method, apparently there is another method that is no less practical to restore the texture of soggy crackers to crispy again. This method was shared by YouTube user Nayasoma Channel. Crackers that are initially soft can be crispy again within 5-10 minutes, you know.

First of all, heat the Teflon on the stove without oil. Then, when the Teflon is hot, add the soft crackers. The crackers are roasted without using cooking oil for 5-10 minutes, stirring continuously.

While the crackers were roasting, the YouTube user also tried to test the texture of the crackers. The crackers were still a little tough, so he stirred the crackers again until the texture was crisp and crunchy again. After finishing roasting, he turned off the heat and went back to testing the texture of the crackers. As a result, the toasted crackers have a crispy texture again.

"So it's crispy and crunchy again. So it doesn't get soggy," he concluded.

Easy enough, right? This way, you don't need to use a microwave or oven to restore the texture of tough and soggy crackers to make them crunchy again. Apart from that, this method can also save on cooking oil and gas because it only takes 5-10 minutes.
