Brilio.net - The use of stoves is very crucial in supporting cooking activities. In this case, LPG gas is one of the most common energy sources used to operate stoves. In addition to being easily accessible, LPG gas can also be installed and removed easily.

However, the installation of LPG gas cylinders sometimes faces some problems. One of the problems that often arises is leakage. This leakage is usually caused by the regulator not being installed tightly, thus creating a gap for gas to escape from the cylinder.

Various methods were then tried to overcome this problem. Some people chose to replace the red seal on the gas cylinder, while others added rubber bands to make the regulator position tighter. However, it is important to note that these methods are not always effective, as experienced by a YouTube user named Yoga Arief.

"I've replaced several seals. Then earlier I tried using rubber bands, that's usually the last solution. Usually I put them under the seal, it doesn't leak. But this one still leaked," explained YouTuber Yoga Arief as quoted by BrilioFood on Thursday (12/9).

Not remaining silent, Yoga Arief then had his own solution to overcome the problem. The YouTube user admitted to using used sandal rubber that had been used. He then cut the sandal rubber into a round shape.

Then, Yoga split the sandal rubber into two parts because it was considered too thick. After splitting it, tidy up the edges again. Then he sanded the sides of the sandal rubber to make it smoother.

"I made this seal myself," he explained further.

Next, make a hole in the middle of the sandal rubber using a soldier. If you don't have one, you can use a heated nail. After that, tidy up and remove the remaining fine rubber that is still attached.

Once done, install this homemade seal on the regulator mouth. Make sure the size fits perfectly, not too big or too small. Then push the seal until it is tight and sticks to the regulator mouth wall.

When installing, make sure there is no red seal attached to the gas cylinder. Then install the regulator as usual. That way, no gas will leak at all even if the regulator is shaken.

"Of course the stove lights up perfectly," explained Yoga Arief.
