Brilio.net - For some people, processing beef is a challenge. Beef that is not cooked properly can make its texture tough. On the other hand, if cooked too long, the distinctive taste of beef can be lost.
There are various ways to process beef to make it more tender. Starting from boiling to marinating for a long time. The first method is often used because it is considered more practical. However, if boiled for too long, the beef tends to change taste.
While the second method requires certain ingredients. Some people usually marinate beef using pineapple or papaya leaves. Both of these ingredients can effectively tenderize beef.
However, besides pineapple and papaya leaves, there are actually other ingredients that can be used. A YouTube user named Indoculinaire Hunter revealed the ingredients used for marinating beef. In one of the videos uploaded, he admitted that he wanted to make satay from beef.
Instead of using pineapple or papaya leaves, he chose to use spices that can tenderize and add flavor to the beef. As reported by BrilioFood on Tuesday (24/9), the ingredients are garlic and ginger . Both of these ingredients need to be chopped or blended until smooth before they are ready to use.
"Well, garlic and ginger can make the meat tender," he explained further.

First, prepare the beef that has been cut into pieces. Then add 1 tbsp of finely ground garlic and 1/2 tbsp of finely ground ginger. In addition to the two additional ingredients, YouTube user Indoculinaire Hunter also uses other spices used to enhance the taste of the meat in the form of 1 tsp of ground coriander, 1 tsp of pepper, and 3 tbsp of soy sauce.

"Or there are also those who leave it overnight in the refrigerator, which is even better. The meat will be more tender and the spices will be absorbed," explained YouTube Indoculinaire Hunter.
After being left in the refrigerator, the beef is ready to be processed. If you want to cook satay, you can immediately arrange it on skewers or sticks, then grill it over charcoal. However, besides satay, this marinated beef can also be processed into various delicious dishes, such as stir-fried meat, yakiniku, or even beef katsu.
