Brilio.net - Beaches are often an exciting holiday destination. With a natural panorama, it will be even more enjoyable if you can enjoy the view while eating a variety of seafood dishes . You can also eat dishes that support the cool beach atmosphere, such as buying young coconut ice, boiled noodles, and others.
Unfortunately, recently going viral on social media , a netizen revealed his complaints when visiting one of the beach resorts. It's not about the beach, but when he enjoys food on the beach.
In an upload shared by the Instagram account @memomedsos, this man actually had to spend more than expected while enjoying his day at Wong Kito Beach in North Sumatra.
As reported by BrilioFood from the Instagram account @memomedsos on Tuesday (18/6), the man showed a receipt containing a list of prices he had to pay at the beach located in the Perbaungan area. In one of them, it was written that 4 young coconuts cost Rp. 160,000, which means this netizen had to pay Rp. 40,000 per coconut ice.
The benchmark of IDR 40,000 for one young coconut is relatively high. The price for young coconuts generally sold on the market ranges from IDR 10,000 to IDR 15,000 per fruit. Meanwhile, if young coconuts are in locations such as beaches, the price is slightly higher than in areas outside tourist attractions, sometimes reaching IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000.
However, the price of young coconuts in public tourist areas is set high, usually because the traders have also provided comfortable or even aesthetic huts or restaurants for customers to enjoy. However, the places to eat in the Wong Kito Beach area that netizens visit can be said to be very simple.
In fact, instead of getting a cool hut, visitors to Wong Kito Beach still have to pay location rental and entrance tickets at prices that are no less fantastic.

The unpleasant incident experienced by the man in the upload shared by Instagram @memomedsos attracted the attention of many netizens. Not a few people were also angry at the high prices they had to pay at the beach. On the other hand, there are also those who compare the price of young coconuts at Wong Kito Beach with other beaches.
"There will definitely be those who comment "if you're poor you don't need to travel" hey Bambang, judging from the place, it's not very fancy, not a restaurant, not a cafe, just an ordinary beachside food stall. If a young coconut costs 40 thousand a piece, it's very expensive, here only 10 thousand (Jepara) maybe that's what Anoman picked? This is the definition of killing one's own fortune," wrote Instagram account user @erwinzst.
"In Bali, that's the cheapest (beach club or cafe prices) but those in this video know for themselves what the place is like hehehe," said Instagram @najeeb.albany.
"40 K is enough for 1 bunch," said Instagram @faaisal_08.

In fact, there are traders who simply make huge profits beyond reason and are hard to avoid, especially in tourist attractions. So, so that you don't experience something similar, for example when buying young coconuts on the beach, you can get around this by asking the price first before buying. This was also explained by the Instagram account user of one of the National Police KBPP.
