Brilio.net - Fried rice that is often found in five-star hotels tends to have a 'smokey' taste . This deliciousness does not only come from quality ingredients, but also from cooking techniques that produce a distinctive aroma and taste. Fried rice with a smokey aroma provides a more complex culinary experience and pampers the tongue. The combination of spices, rice, and a touch of smoke makes every mouthful taste special.
The cooking technique that creates this smoky aroma typically involves using a large wok and very hot fire. The method is known as wok hei in Chinese cooking. The high heat allows the rice and other ingredients to fully caramelize, creating a distinctive layer of flavor and aroma. In five-star hotel kitchens, chefs often use large cast-iron woks and high-heat stoves to achieve this effect. This fast, hot cooking process ensures that every grain of rice is coated with seasoning and a hint of smoke.
Unfortunately, to do that, of course, requires good cooking skills. If you want to make fried rice at home with makeshift cooking utensils, of course it will be very risky. Even so, that doesn't mean you can't eat delicious fried rice that has a smoky aroma like a five-star chef's, right?

Immediately after being exposed to oil, the charcoal will emit a lot of smoke. Well, at this stage, you can immediately cover the pan and let it sit for about 5 minutes so that the smoke can seep into the fried rice. After that, open the pan lid and move the heat-resistant container . That way, the fried rice is ready to eat.
