First, prepare the squid that you will fry. Then, marinate the squid using two ingredients. This is to provide a squid texture that is not tough.

The marinade ingredients you need to prepare include 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon baking powder. This dose is used for 3 large squid. Then, let it sit for 30 minutes so that the flavors absorb.

While waiting for the squid to marinate, prepare the flour ingredients so that the fried squid tastes more delicious and crispy. You need to prepare wet flour and dry flour.

To make a wet flour mixture, grate 2 cloves of garlic, then put them in a container such as a small basin. Then, add 5 tablespoons of wheat flour, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix all the ingredients, make sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed. You can also stir it using a spoon.

Then, prepare the dry flour ingredients in a different container. Prepare 3 tablespoons wheat flour, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder. Mix all the ingredients until evenly mixed.

After that, take the squid that you just marinated. Wash with running water until clean. Then, put the squid in the wet flour mixture. Stir until evenly mixed. After that, lift the squid from the wet flour mixture and coat it in the dry flour mixture. Now, the squid mixture is ready to be fried.

Then, heat cooking oil on the stove. Add enough oil so that the squid mixture can sink so that it can be cooked perfectly. Once cooked, drain immediately. Now, you can enjoy fried squid as a snack or side dish.
