Brilio.net - There was something unique after the Singapore National Team's match against Thailand on Tuesday (11/6). After the match, it was discovered that Singapore goalkeeper Hassan Sunny's food business was busy with tourists from China. Not without reason, for tourists who are fans of Chinese football, Hassan Sunny is the savior of their national team.

Starting from losing 3-1 to Thailand, fans of the Chinese National Team actually thanked the Singapore National Team goalkeeper. The reason is, thanks to him, the Chinese national team was able to compete in the third round of World Cup qualifying.

Initially, the Chinese national team was on the edge after losing to South Korea with a score of 0-1 in the final match of Group C of the second round. In order for the Chinese national team to continue to advance to the qualifying round, Singapore must not lose by three or more goals to Thailand. If otherwise, then Thailand wins and eliminates China from the World Cup.

Even though Thailand won, unfortunately they were unable to score a difference of three goals or more. Masatada Ishii's team failed to advance to the next phase because they lost head-to-head to China. The Chinese national team passed the third qualifying round thanks to Hassan Sunny. The 40 year old goalkeeper managed to block 11 balls from Singapore's goal during the match.

Chinese national team fans thanked Hassan in a unique way. Knowing that the goalkeeper from the Lion Country owns a Muslim food business called Dapur Hassan, they flocked to his shop which is located at Block 144 Tampines Street 12. The shop immediately became a popular place to eat for Chinese tourists.

Reporting from The Straits Times, a long queue of customers was seen at the Hassan Sunny food stall. This stall serves various typical foods, such as nasi lemak and nasi Padang. Visitors also took selfies with the shop's nameplate as the background.

No exception for William Lin who came to thank Hassan. He bought two packs of nasi lemak for himself and his daughter because the stall was full, so there were no seats available.

If usually there were only 20 people in line, after the match, the stall was very full. There were about 50 people in line during the day at that time. That's what Keith Ong, a Singaporean who often stops by the shop, noticed.
