Brilio.net - It seems that the phrase 'effort will not betray the results' is not just a saying. This sentence is like a theory that is always effective when someone puts it into practice. The proof is the following story of the struggle of a woman who managed to recover from her family's economic difficulties.
Reported by brilio.net from the TikTok account @jenniesakina, Wednesday (26/6), this woman named Jennie Sakina shared the story of her struggle from zero to success in raising her family's economic standing and even being able to send her two younger siblings to an expensive school.
The story begins with a portrait of Jennie and her two younger twin sisters who have just graduated from their favorite, expensive school. Jennie tells how her struggle to build a business has now become successful and improved the family's economy. This upload went viral and made netizens applaud.
"Mah pah Eni did it. Even though we used to have difficulty eating everything, we didn't even have a motorbike. We ate 2 catfish pecels but we ate them together to save money," he wrote at the beginning of the video.
Before having a life like now, Jennie had experienced the difficulty of living with a mediocre economy. In the past, when their parents took them to a children's play area, their family couldn't afford to buy toys there. The sad thing is, they just took photos without being able to buy any toys because they didn't have any money. They couldn't even buy the toys their younger siblings wanted.
When he went to a fast food restaurant, he could only buy a burger for IDR 5 thousand for his two younger siblings. It couldn't be helped, he couldn't buy another menu because the price was quite expensive for his condition at that time.
However, Jennie admits that she has never stopped trying, from school to college, she has worked part-time.
"Being an SPG, being an extra, selling pudding since middle school, likes to control my age because of my wasteful face even though I don't have an ID card so I can still work. I often get called back for work. Whatever I do, even though I travel by train, sometimes I get caught in the rain for 1-2 hours. "Sometimes I come home from shooting early in the morning," he wrote, remembering his past which was full of struggle.
In one of his portraits, he even seems to swear that he will not make his parents' old age difficult because of it.
"Every time I'm tired of work, I always look at this photo (of his parents): I won't make your old age difficult," wrote Jennie.
When she was a student, Jennie tried her luck by selling headscarves. He even transported all his merchandise on his motorbike alone. It was not uncommon for him to get caught in the rain and get drenched while struggling to start a business.
"Whatever rain I hit, I will fight for my future. Even though it is difficult, I will be sure that the storm will subside," wrote Jennie.
While starting a business, Jennie admitted that she often 'lied' to her parents. In order to make his mother not worry, he was willing to send all the money he had to his parents and left only Rp. 100 thousand to survive.
In another video, he also talks about his struggles in building a business. She started selling hijabs in 2018. Initially she often promoted her own sales until she started to endorse them on celebgrams. After endorsing Tasya Farasya, her hijab brand started to grow and sell well.
Jennie then endorsed several other celebgrams until now her business is successful. All his efforts to struggle have borne fruit and make him grateful to be able to survive and not give up in his efforts.
"Continue to grow into the figure you dream of. Your efforts will not be in vain. Allah promises that," wrote Jennie at the end of her story.
This video went viral and made netizens applaud. Many admitted that they saw this video while they were still struggling and were inspired to try harder.
" Sis Jenn, that's really cool, Masha Allah. Ask for your prayers, sis. I'm also trying to raise the status of a healthy family, Sis Jen and my family," wrote the account @sifirh_.
"My favorite hijab owner. Turns out there's an extraordinary story behind it... You're really cool," wrote the account @rystiryss13.
"I'm sorry I'm crying... because I'm still in the fighting phase. I'm going through the storm. Seeing my brother's hard work, I'm slapped, why can I still feel relaxed in my body, while people are desperately fighting the storm. It's no wonder they see the sun after the storm, because "They are fighting, not like me who just surrenders to the storm. Anyone, encourage me," wrote the account that followed @abilayuna.
"What I learned: Don't be afraid of running out of sustenance for parents & siblings," wrote the account @kehl.charll.
