Brilio.net - Being an overseas child is not an easy thing. There is a lot of independence that must be experienced because you are far from your family. Not to mention that sometimes they overcome financial limitations and access to resources. Just eating it sometimes saves me half to death. But what can you do, it's also called struggle.
This young man has felt this. He shared his experiences via Twitter with the account @tanyakanrl. The purpose of telling this is just to share the story, coincidentally the experience occurred during the fasting month.
This person is a Christian, so during the month of Ramadan he certainly does not fast. However, his financial condition actually made him have to endure hunger for longer. He admitted that he had not eaten for 2 days.
As a boarding house student, sometimes the money you send isn't enough to make a decent living. That's how he felt. Because, there are many college requirements that have to be paid for. Meanwhile, if you keep asking your parents, you will feel bad.
The only option for him was to endure hunger. However, Ramadan is indeed a month full of blessings. Not just for Muslims, even for all people in the world. The mosque and its boarding house regularly hold iftar together.
Just to try his luck, this non-Muslim young man came to the mosque. He admitted that he saw a lot of leftover food and cakes when people finished breaking the fast. According to him, it can cover hunger. Because of that, he asked one of the congregation at the mosque.
"Sir, can I have the rest of the cake? Just a little, I haven't eaten yet, sir, I'm not fasting because I'm not Muslim," he said.

A man who was asked responded with a smile. He instead ordered the non-Muslim youth to enter and sit in the mosque. There he was served with various cakes and heavy food.
Still smiling, the father said , "Eat a lot, finish it. If you're hungry again tomorrow, you can come again,"
Hearing such gentle and sincere words, his tears couldn't be stopped. Without realizing it, he ate the dish with tears streaming down his cheeks. His feelings of emotion and gratitude really came out at that moment.
He came home full. The experience will be something he will remember for the rest of his life. Now he is in the world of work. As a form of return, he always takes the time to fill the charity box at the mosque. Apart from that, during the month of Ramadan he also often brings takjil to the congregation who break their fast there.
This story also went viral and attracted the attention of netizens. Many were moved and admitted to crying when they read this. Netizens flocked to offer prayers so that the person who provided this experience would get good fortune.
"The person who kindly gave you food at that time was the true form of a believing Muslim. Calm and likes to help without discrimination," said the account @rubsjanez.
