Brilio.net - Saudi Arabia, as a Muslim country, is one of the main destinations for Muslims throughout the world. Not only to be visited as a tourist spot, Saudi Arabia is also a destination to carry out worship in its two holy cities, namely Mecca and Medina.
There are also those who come here to live to study, there are also those who work. Indonesian citizens are no exception, many of whom come to Saudi Arabia to study and also work in this kingdom-shaped country.
Many of those who live there then share various stories about Saudi Arabia. Starting from things that are popular, to other aspects that are not talked about much.
This interesting fact was revealed by the man who owns the TikTok account @almanmulyana15. The Indonesian citizen, who is known to have lived in Saudi Arabia for a long time, told the story through a short video he shared some time ago.

At the beginning of the video, he reveals an unexpected habit that Saudi Arabians often do.
"Want to know or not? Living in Saudi Arabia means not knowing your neighbors," he said in the video.
Along the roads in Saudi Arabia, you can't see any residents interacting, which is very different from the atmosphere on the streets in residential areas in Indonesia. On the other hand, the streets appear deserted and there is no activity from residents. Only a row of privately owned four-wheeled vehicles were parked in the yard.

Because they rarely interact, according to the man in the video, it is revealed that neighbors don't know each other. The citizens of Saudi Arabia, who are known to be very affluent and even very rich, in fact do not have the habit of interacting with their neighbors.
"I have lived in Saudi Arabia for more than 20 years, so I don't know my neighbors. So that house and that house don't know each other," he said.

However, residents in Saudi Arabia actually interact with each other when praying together in a mosque.
There, it is not uncommon to find many residents communicating intensely with each other. Because of these facts and circumstances, the man in the video then admitted that he was grateful.
The reason is, people in Indonesia have habits that are the opposite of those in Saudi Arabia. People in Indonesia are very friendly and greet each other with neighbors.
"That's why we seem to have to be grateful for living in Indonesia, because we still know each other's neighbors," he concluded.

The revelation of the habits of residents in Saudi Arabia caused this short video to flood with public response. Not a few people then responded with various comments agreeing or otherwise.
"Yes, the streets are very quiet. And what happens if someone dies, sir," asked the account owner @uticus1.
"As far as I know, if an Arab dies, someone will already take care of it, so in Arabia there is no tahlilan," wrote the account @hanifah.anggarwat to help answer.
"The negative side is that the streets are quiet and look empty. The positive side is that there is no backbiting between neighbors haha," said the account @ibumarsidahkrapakan.
"I actually prefer someone who is rich and calm. Not tired of thinking about what other people say, but busy with myself," said the account @dbrecot.
"It's true that the character of a citizen is based on their economic level. If you're rich, why are you hanging out on the terrace of your house? It's better to do something else or rest. If you're poor, it's better to gather together so you can work together," wrote the account owner @emmiliahrp.
