Brilio.net - This year's people's party shows a positive atmosphere, both in terms of the recent campaign up to the time of the general election on Wednesday (14/2) today. President Joko Widodo's hope that the 2024 election must be fair and run smoothly appears to be successful.
The survey institute Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) announced the results of an exit poll which showed that the majority of people considered that the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) was held honestly and fairly (jurdil).
The exit poll results came from 2,782 respondents who were interviewed after voting at various polling stations (TPS) throughout Indonesia.

"The majority said today's presidential election was fair," said SMRC researcher Ezha Fahriza in announcing the results of SMRC's temporary exit poll which was monitored online in Jakarta, Wednesday.
Ezha detailed that the majority of people who considered the 2024 presidential election to be carried out honestly and fairly included 50.7 percent of respondents who thought it was quite honest and fair and 39.5 percent who thought it was very honest and fair.
Meanwhile, the remainder, namely 6.3 percent of respondents, considered that today's presidential election was not honest and fair, 0.8 percent thought it was not honest and fair at all, and 2.6 percent did not know or did not answer.
Apart from that, he continued, from 2,822 respondents, answers were obtained showing that the majority of people were satisfied with the implementation of this year's presidential election.
In detail, 39.8 percent said they were very satisfied, 53.1 percent were quite satisfied, 5.1 percent were not satisfied, 0.6 percent were not satisfied at all, and 1.4 percent did not know or did not answer.

From the same number of respondents, the exit poll results also show that the majority of people believe that the presidential election will produce a leader who can make Indonesia better, namely 51.2 percent are very confident and 42.8 percent are quite confident.
"Meanwhile the rest are very few, with 4.1 percent not sure, 0.4 percent not sure at all, and 1.5 percent don't know or didn't answer," he added.
The SMRC exit poll was conducted at 2,000 polling stations with two people selected at each polling station at random, so that the total planned sample was 4,000 people.
The 2024 elections include the election of the president and vice president, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, as well as members of the district/city DPRD with a national level permanent voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.

The 2024 elections will be participated by 18 national political parties, namely (according to serial number) National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, Labor Party and Gelora Indonesia Party.
Next, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Archipelago Awakening Party (PKN), the Hanura Party, the Garuda Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Democratic Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Perindo Party, the Development Association (PPP), and the Ummat Party.
Apart from that, there are six local political parties as participants, namely the Nanggroe Aceh Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Darul Aceh Party, the Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Adil Party, and the Aceh People's Independent Solidity Party.
Meanwhile, three pairs participated in the presidential and vice presidential elections, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar as serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka serial number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.
In accordance with KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the national vote recapitulation for the 2024 Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20 2024.
