Kampung Chicken & Don't Tholo 'Mbah Kebo', legendary culinary delights of Kulonprogo

Hello Brilio Friends!

A trip to Kulon Progo wouldn't be complete if you didn't stop at the 'Mbah Kebo' food stall. The reason is, this food stall serves various typical Javanese dishes from Kulon Progo, one of which is don't tholo. In Javanese, 'jangan' means vegetable and tholo refers to a type of brownish legume. What's more interesting is that the owner of this food stall, Boinem, is already the third generation successor, you know.

In fact, he also became a cook by preserving recipes passed down from generation to generation. Until now, Mbah Boinem, as he is known, has been selling for 45 years. Very legendary huh! Are you curious about the story and menu? Come on, watch the full video.
