Chocolate spread is usually a must-have food stock in the kitchen. Chocolate spread is often used to mix cakes, spread white bread, and dip various foods. Its sweet taste and soft texture make many people like to eat food with chocolate spread.
Usually the chocolate spread used is packaged in small jars. This makes it easier for users when they want to eat chocolate jam. However, there is one drawback, namely that the jar is difficult to clean when the jam is finished. For those who immediately throw away the chocolate spread container, maybe this problem isn't a problem.
But quite a few people still use chocolate jam containers for reuse. Basically, chocolate jam jars are made of glass or thick plastic that can be reused. Therefore, many people wash it when the jam is finished. Unfortunately, remaining jam stuck to the walls of the jar is often a chore in itself because it is difficult to clean and can make the sponge dirty when brushed.
Instead, you can wash this jar like a trick shared by Instagram user @rorasmommy2912. Through one of the uploaded videos, the video uploader only uses simple materials and methods. This method doesn't even require brushing the jar. Even so, the jar can be smooth and clean from remaining jam.
Reported by BrilioFood on Friday (5/7), the method used was to soak the jar in water. More precisely, he used hot water to dissolve the remaining jam that was stuck to it. On the other hand, the only cleaner used is dish soap.
If the water is starting to cool and is safe to touch, immediately remove the jar. If there is still a sticker on the front, you can remove it because this sticker peels off easily. After that, immediately pour water into the inside of the jar. As soon as it is poured, the jar immediately returns to being clean and shiny, you know. Basically, the remaining chocolate that sticks is mixed with hot water and soap. Therefore, the jar is cleaner even if it is not brushed. However, for maximum results, don't forget to rinse the jar again under running water.
