Brilio.net - Blenders are one of the frequently used kitchen tools. This tool really makes the cooking process more practical. Without the hassle of expending extra energy, the spices added in the blender will be smooth by themselves.

After use, the blender must be washed thoroughly. Unfortunately, most people don't wash every part of the blender thoroughly. As a result, there are parts of the blender that are still dirty and even moldy. One part of the blender that is often overlooked is the blender rubber.

Blender rubber or what is often called a seal is found on the blender body. This part functions as a lock so that the glass and blender machine can be installed firmly. Not only that, the blender rubber also holds the cooking ingredients inside so they don't leak out.

Because it is often in damp conditions, blender rubber that is not washed thoroughly will become moldy. If you look closely, the rubber surface of the blender will appear to be covered in black spots. As experienced by Instagram user @rumah3petak.

"In the end, the blender rubber that was already moldy and the buluq didn't get softened (thrown to buy a new one) because it can be cleaned using a magic potion," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from Instagram @rumah3petak on Friday (17/5).

Without needing to rub, the rubber blender immediately appears to change color after leaving it for 2 hours. Set aside the cotton wool then rinse the blender rubber with running water. As a result, the blender rubber is maximally clean and can be installed directly into its original position.

How to deal with loose blender rubber.

Loose blender rubber can interfere with the blender's performance and cause leaks. Here are some ways to deal with loose blender rubber:

1. Regular cleaning.

Make sure the blender rubber is always clean. Food residue or dirt stuck to it can cause the rubber to become loose. Clean the rubber with warm soapy water and a soft brush.

2. Check and reset.

Remove the rubber from its holder and check for worn or damaged parts. If the condition is still good, reinstall it properly. Make sure the rubber fits tightly and there are no folded parts.

3. Use replacement rubber.

If the rubber is too worn or no longer fits tightly, consider replacing it with new rubber. Many household equipment stores or online stores sell replacement rubber according to the brand and model of your blender.

4. Use of vegetable oil.

Some users suggest rubbing a little vegetable oil on the rubber before installing. This can help the rubber fit more tightly and reduce the risk of leaks.

5. Rubber heating.

If the rubber becomes stiff, soak it in warm water for a few minutes to make it more pliable. After that, put it back into the blender.

By following the steps above, you should be able to solve the problem of loose blender rubber and ensure your blender functions properly without leaks.
