To make it clearer how to use it, you have to make sure the thermos is empty first. If there is remaining water in it, throw it away immediately and replace it with a new one. Fill with freshly boiled hot water until it is completely boiling.

So, after filling it with hot water, line the top of the thermos with food plastic. If it has been coated in plastic, then close the thermos as usual. Make sure you close it really tightly so that the temperature inside the thermos doesn't spread out.
