Brilio.net - Plates are cutlery that play an important role in everyday life. In addition to being used for eating, plates also function as containers for serving various types of food and snacks.
With continued use, plates can experience a decline in quality, such as becoming dull and looking dirty. This can be caused by various factors, including scratches or dirt residue that is not removed during washing. If left too long, the dirt can harden and form a crust that is difficult to clean.
This problem is often experienced by many people. One common method used to overcome it is to soak the plate in bleach. This liquid is believed to be effective in removing hard-to-clean crust on the surface of the plate.
However, the use of bleach has its own risks. Cleaning kitchen equipment or cutlery with bleach can be dangerous because the chemical content is too strong. Chemical residue from bleach can stick strongly and potentially contaminate food that will be served on the plate.
To avoid these risks, there are safer alternatives as demonstrated by a YouTube user named my assistant. In his video, the user demonstrates how to clean dishes using only two simple ingredients, without using bleach.
As reported by BrilioFood from YouTube my asisten on Tuesday (1/10), the ingredients needed are dishwashing soap and toothpaste.

First, wet the plate with clean water. Then mix dish soap and toothpaste in one container. Stir until well mixed.

Next, directly apply the mixture to the dirty plate surface. Then scrub using a dishwashing sponge. For parts that are crusty and full of stubborn stains, scrub the part harder. Do this process until all the crust and stains are completely removed.

If the crust has lifted, rinse the plate until clean. After that, dry it using a clean cloth. Well, old dishes that are dull and crusty will look cleaner.
The condition of the white and clean plate is certainly more comfortable to use. In addition, the plate is also safe to use because it is not exposed to strong chemicals such as in bleach. That way, the food placed on the plate is also more hygienic and healthy to consume.
