In the video, the account owner who is familiarly called Tanu tastes a snack made by her mother-in-law who is from India. However, there is one thing about the snack that makes you lose focus, namely the ingredient that comes from taro leaves. After investigating, this snack is called paan.

Tanu shows the process of making a typical Indian snack by her mother-in-law. Initially, her mother-in-law mixed the besan flour and spices first in a container. Then, the mixture was mixed with sliced taro leaves and water, until the result thickened.

Not only that, the snack dough is then divided into several parts. After that, the dough is formed into an oval. In Indonesia, it seems that the dough is similar to a rolade dish.

Next, just enter the cooking process. This snack is apparently cooked with a steaming technique. Danu explained, after being steamed for a while, the snack dough from taro leaves will solidify and be ready to be served.

Before being served, the taro leaf snack is cut into smaller pieces first so that it is easy to eat . Tanu immediately tasted the snack made by her mother-in-law and described the taste.
"It tastes delicious and tends to be spicy too. But it doesn't taste like leaves at all, unlike the spinach leaves in India which really taste like leaves. If you chew it, it's a bit chewy, like a wet cake like that, you know. It's still in, just one, the taste is really delicious," he explained, quoted by BrilioFood from TikTok @danurist on Saturday (18/8).
Peeking at @danurist's TikTok upload that has been watched 7 million times, there are still some netizens who are curious about this unique Indian snack. According to the account owner, it doesn't taste itchy at all.
