Brilio.net - The case of blackmail and threats against YouTuber, Ria Ricis, has finally come to light. Previously, Teuku Ryan's ex-wife received threats from someone who would share personal photos and videos on the internet, if she didn't give him IDR 300 million in exchange.
The threats received by Ria Ricis were not only directed at her , but this was also felt by several of her family and the management team. Regarding this, Ria Ricis immediately made a report to the SPKT Polda Metro Jaya last Friday (7/6).
After three days, the investigative team from the Cyber Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate, Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya, succeeded in arresting the perpetrator. It was revealed that the perpetrator with the initials AP was a former security guard who once worked at the artist's house.

"The perpetrator who threatened to distribute personal documentation belonging to sister RY or RR with the initials AP. This perpetrator is a former security guard at the victim's house," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi, as reported by Kapanlagi.com, Thursday (13/ 6).
Apparently, there was an element of hurt by the perpetrator after being fired by Ria Ricis. This motive is accompanied by economic needs. This is what made the perpetrator finally dare to threaten and blackmail his former employer.
"There was hurt because he was dismissed from his job as a security guard. This was combined with economic needs. That's why he said the figure was quite large, namely IDR 300 million," explained Police Commissioner Ade Ary.
The perpetrator obtained photos and videos illegally by hacking Ria Ricis' electronic system. Remembering, when he worked as security he had the authority to access the CCTV footage of the YouTuber's house.
