He did all this because he felt depressed because he was embarrassed and was always being overshadowed by his mother. For Devano, tattoos are not just decoration, but also a form of therapy that helps him overcome mental and emotional stress.

"At that time, I was really stressed. I often really hurt myself by cutting all kinds of things, you know. That tattoo is the reason I'm still here (surviving)... Why do I get a tattoo? Yes, rather than cutting a tattoo, it's the same that's what it feels like," he added.
When asked by Kemal Palevi about the causes of the stress he experienced, Devano explained that the problem came from various aspects of life. Including those related to family.
