To get a crispy texture, oyster mushrooms need to be coated with flour batter before frying. This batter not only adds crispiness, but also enhances the savory taste of the mushrooms. However, the flour batter must be mixed correctly. Otherwise, the crispy mushrooms can become soft after cooling.

As reported by BrilioFood from YouTube KELUARGA HAMZAH on Friday (1/11), prepare a large enough container first. Then add 250 grams of high protein flour, 4 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/2 tablespoon chicken stock powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder.

Now, for the crispy crust, he uses 1/2 tsp of baking soda. The use of baking soda can make the dough texture crispier for a long time.

If baking soda has been added, stir the dry mixture until smooth. Then prepare another container. Put 6 tablespoons of dry flour mixture into the container. Then pour 200 ml of water to make a wet mixture.
