As reported by BrilioFood on Wednesday (6/11), there are several steps that need to be done first before the fish is ready to be fried. So first, prepare the fish that has been cleaned of scales. Then pull the fish between the tail and head until the bones make a 'crack' sound. According to TikTok user @farida_khanza1, this serves to gather the fish bones in the middle.

Once done, cut the fish meat. Make the cuts close together. The depth should be enough until the knife touches the middle fish bone.

"This way, the fine bones inside the milkfish are no longer felt. Because they have been cut into small pieces and when fried, the bones will blend with the meat," said TikTok @farida_khanza1.

Next, prepare the oil that is already in the pan. Just use a little oil so that the fish meat does not stick. Then heat the oil. Do not put the fish in if the oil is not hot, because then the fish meat can stick and fall apart.

While heating the oil, coat the fish with marinade. You can use instant seasoning or homemade seasoning for marinade. In the video, TikTok user @farida_khanza1 uses marinade made from salt, garlic, coriander, and turmeric that are finely ground.

After marinating, immediately put the fish into the frying pan. Fry both sides, until cooked and dry. When frying, do not turn the fish too often because it will fall apart.
