The app is called Chichi developed by Japanese app developer. According to the official website of Chichi, the app was designed to help more than 80% of women over the world who are claimed to wear wrong bras, unfitting for their cup size.
Chichi itself is developed for measuring womans bust size accurately using a smartphone. Yup, a simple diagram on the official website explains that the user is only required to activate Chichi and put the smartphone between the breasts; the size then would automatically appear on the screen.
How the app works and the smartphones specs needed remain unknown up to this moment. The developer is still conducting tests to optimize Chici in the hope they could release it in January 2016.
According to Rocketnews (14/12), most likely, the app utilizes two cameras in smartphone to measure the size of the breast. It is possible for the developer to use several types of sensors in smartphones, such as an accelerometer or gyroscope.
