Brilio.net/en - The finding of a new species of human race has confused the world. The new species is named Red Deer Cave people, because the fossils were found in Red Deer cave and Longlin cave in Guang Xi region, South China. Several miners accidently found it in 1979 and scientists had a new study case ever since. The species is predicted to live in the prehistoric years and had adopted cave life. Some test that run on the remains had results that said these humans lived around 11,000-14,000 years ago.
The shape of Red Deer Cave people have similarities to modern human, but also very different. They have distinctive features that is different than us, including flat face, prominent brows, broad nose, large molars, jutting jaw with no chin, thick skull bones and moderate-size brain. Scholars are still studying their civilizations: were there other human species that lived with us before? What happened then and how did they decease?
One possibility was that they were part of homo sapiens that migrated earlier and lived separately than the others before Asia continent became dry and they could not survive. The other possibility was that they were the Asian inhabitants long time ago. Another possibility is that they were also part of modern human that lived together with the Archaic human in the same time. The last possibility is that they were primitive people who lived in cave due to genetic drift or due to the environmental pressure such as climate change.
There are many other possibilities and even more questions arise regarding the Red Deer Cave people. Never had we ever heard about their existence before, and now suddenly their remains found. This just added more homework to anthropologists and change our perspective about our ancestors and how the world was in the prehistoric time.
