First, the toothpaste cap is cut off leaving only the top. After that, the cut cap is washed first so that it is clean before use.
Then, the cut toothpaste cap is attached to the center of the pot lid with the handle removed. With a little pressure, the toothpaste cap will stick and act as a replacement for a new handle.
