Brilio.net/en - 14 year-old Lucas Etter from Clarksville, Maryland has supposedly broken the world record for solving one of life's greatest mysteries for many.
The famed Rubik's Cube has always been a source of fascination among people and every other person is always trying to one-up the others in solving the cube as quick as possible.
Etter, who attempted the feat managed to solve the cube in just 4.90 seconds. The previous record was held by Collin Burns at 5.25 seconds.
The invention of Erno Rubik, the cube has sold more than 350 million units throughout its history, making it the world's top-selling puzzle game.
Competitions to solve the Rubik's Cube has been held ever since 1981 when it was organized in Munich.
