The plan at Universal is presumed to follow similar strategies with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in which multiple character-specific films based in the 'Fast and Furious' world will be produced.One likely movie candidate might focus on Dwayne Johnson's DSS agent Luke Hobbs.
Even with the spinoff talks being held, Universal is still focused on producing at least three more Fast and Furious sequels; with the next one, Fast and Furious 8 being directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton).
