Some actors may have acting chops but whether it's due to safety reasons or other factors, many actors and actresses have to rely on stunt doubles for filming action scenes. Not everyone can be Jackie Chan or Jet Lee who do their own stunts.
More often than not doubles are completely different from their actor counterparts that you can tell differentiate them immediately. However, on other occasions you'd be hard-pressed to tell which one's the main actor.
