A tragic incident befell Ruri Wantogia, vocalist of the band Repvblik , who had a single accident while riding a big motorbike (moge) in the Cijeungjing area, Ciamis, West Java. The incident occurred on Friday (6/9) afternoon. This accident was first reported via the Instagram account @ciamis.inf0.
It was reported that the motorbike that Ruri was riding hit a large rock on the side of the road. As a result of the impact, Ruri was thrown towards the trees around the location of the incident. Luckily, Ruri was immediately evacuated by his fellow motorbike riders who were with him at the time.
Although the incident had raised concerns, Ruri's current condition was reported to be gradually improving. Repvblik Manager, Deny Bhagonk, confirmed that Ruri is currently undergoing treatment at the Ciamis Orthopedic Specialist Hospital (RSOP).
