" The beautiful and kind artist, Ms. Puput Novel, has passed away on Sunday at 18.24 WIB at the age of 50 ," read the message sent by management to journalists.
Deep sorrow was felt not only by the family, but also by close friends and Puput's colleagues in the music world, one of whom was her colleague and singer, Ita Purnamasari.
" Innalillahi waiinailaihi rojiun. My deepest condolences, may he have a good end. Amen ," wrote Ita Purnamasari in the comments column of Puput Novel's Instagram post.

As is known, Puput Novel, who was born in Jakarta on August 31, 1974, has shown musical talent since childhood. He began his career as a child singer in the 70s to 80s. Through the songs, Kojak, Puput Bayi Ajaib, Masa Liburan, his name skyrocketed. Puput existed as a singer in the 90s.
Known by her real name Putri Zizi Novianti, Puput has released 36 albums throughout her career, consisting of 28 albums for children and 8 albums for teenagers. She has also been a commercial star, one of which is an iconic shampoo advertisement.
